Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala is all set to hit screens on June 6. This is the second time that the Thaliavar collaborated with Pa. Ranjith after Kabali. When asked which movie he likes of the two, without battling eyelids, he said, “”Kaala…Kaala… I like it. I like Kaala more than Kabali.” The film Kaala is about a Dharavi-based gangster, whose roots are in Tamil Nadu belonging to Tirunelveli district.

The makers have recreated Dharavi slum in Chennai and the Superstar says, “The Dharavi setting in Chennai gave me a unique experience. It’s very difficult to explain. I felt as if I was in Dharavi during filming.” The actor considers age just a number and fans’ love and support give him the momentum to surge forward. “People’s support, fan’s love and support give me energy,” he said. The film boasts of an ensemble cast from Nana Patekar to Huma Qureshi among others.
