Looks like fans of Rajinikanth had to wait for more time to catch 2.0 as it is learnt that the film would release in the next year in 2019. According to reports, there’s a lot of VFX work that needs to be finished, following which it will hit the screens next year.
Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 Film Shifted To 2019
“With the amount of VFX work on 2.0 that is still pending there is no way the makers will be able to release the film this year. In fact, the producers are currently working out a perfect release date for the film that will now hit screens in 2019 and an announcement of the same will be done in the last quarter of the year,” said a source.
The film was supposed to hit the screen in 2017, but it was then shifted to 2018 Republic Day, however, even this didn’t happen and was moved to April 2018, which also didn’t take place.
