Earlier, there were many reports stating that ace filmmaker Rajamouli’s Magadheera will be remade in Hindi. It was also reported that Shahid Kapoor and Kajal Aggarwal will be acting in lead roles. But due to some unknown reasons, the project was called off. After many years, now Magadheera’s remake has come into the news again.
According to the latest buzz, Magadheera’s remake will be started in early 2017. It seems that Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde will be playing the lead roles. Pooja has impressed audience with her periodic look in the recently released Mohenjo-Daro. Boney Kapoor will be producing this film and apparently our own Telugu filmmaker, Krish will be directing this project. Krish had earlier directed Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar in Bollywood. An official confirmation is awaited regarding this news.
