Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli took to social media thanking Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav for permitting to resume work for the entertainment industry on Monday. His tweet reads, “Thank you @TelanganaCMO KCR garu for considering our request and allowing us to get back to work, and @YadavTalasani garu for streamlining the process. Now the onus is on us as an industry to figure out how to work with the recommended safety guidelines in place. Quite a job!” Meanwhile, Megasta Chiranjeevi also thanked the CM for the same adding that this will help many workers who make their ends meet on daily basis.
RRR director also underscored the fact that now the responsibility lies on the shoulder of industry to make-sure that all the work happens with the recommended safety guidelines and rules in place, in the wake of rising COVID cases in the state.
Resuming the work for the industry, statement from CM’s office reads, “The CM clarified that film/TV shootings could be held in the state with limited staff and by following guidelines issued by the government from time to time. The post-production is also permitted on the same lines”. “The state government refused to give permission to film theaters to open for public as the central guidelines have barred it,” it added.
