Tragic news struck Nallagonda town as Sandineni Janardhan Rao, BRS Chief Secretary, lost his life in a devastating road accident on Wednesday.
Janardhan Rao, aged 48 and serving as the Narketpally town secretary of BRS, passed away due to injuries sustained in a car accident involving a vehicle associated with Telugu film comedian Raghu Babu.
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon as Janardhan was making a U-turn. The car, reportedly belonging to Raghu Babu, collided with Janardhan’s vehicle as it was heading towards the city.
Despite immediate medical attention, Janardhan tragically lost his life on the spot. Locals gathered at the scene, while Raghu Babu, allegedly seated next to the driver, exited the vehicle to retrieve his belongings from the trunk.
Authorities seized the car and have initiated legal proceedings against Raghu Babu’s driver. Janardhan’s body has been moved to the government hospital mortuary for further examination.
Janardhan Rao was known for his dedicated service, having previously been actively involved with the Telugu Desam Party before joining BRS.
