Veteran director Raghavendra Rao made sensational comments on film Geetha Govindam stating that the film is copied from his hit film then Pelli Sandadi. Raghavendra Rao opened up during Santosham Awards, which was attended by Chiranjeevi, Allu Aravind among other celebrities. ” The director Parasuram copied my movie Pelli Sandadi and made Geetha Govindam. Allu Aravind and I had made Pelli Sandadi 20 years ago. Geetha Govindam reminded me of my movie. It’s impossible to make a movie without a single kiss. There will be a lot of pressure from the producers. I congratulate director Parasuram for making the movie without compromising,” said Raghavendra Rao.

Geetha Govindam released on August 15 and continues to be roaring at the box-office. The film has created a history for Vijay Deverakonda making him the eighth Tollywood actor to enter into Rs 100 crore club.
