The COVID-19 has put the economy into meltdown. Like other industries, even showbiz has been hit hard with big-ticket films like RRR among others where work came to a standstill. Amidst financial crisis, the big debate ongoing in the industry is whether the stars will cut down their remuneration. In Kollywood, we have heard few stars volunteering like Vijay Antony who have slashed their fee to help the producer. Now, reports are in that Allu Arjun has readily accepted to reduce his remuneration where he was initially signed in for Rs 35 crores. While the reports are now widely circulated about Bunny slashing his fee, an official announcement over the same is awaited.
The film is set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema, has the tale of red sanders smugglers, where Allu Arjun essays the role of Pushpa Raj . The film marks the third-time collaboration of Bunny and Sukumar after Arya and Arya 2. Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in to play the antagonist, while Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead.
