On its opening day, Pushpa 2 set records with a massive collection of ₹164.25 crore across all languages. This included ₹80.3 crore in Telugu, ₹70.3 crore in Hindi, and the rest split across Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam audiences. However, on Day 2, collections dropped by 45%, with earnings of ₹90.2 crore. Despite the dip, the film maintained a stronghold, bringing its total two-day nett collection to ₹265 crore.
In comparison, Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1, released in December 2021, had earned ₹178.25 crore in its first week and ₹48.05 crore in the second week, for a total of ₹226.3 crore over two weeks. Pushpa 2 has already surpassed these numbers in just two days, demonstrating its unparalleled popularity.
Allu Arjun, who recently won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in Pushpa: The Rise, has once again impressed audiences with his stellar performance. The sequel’s grand visuals, gripping storyline and power-packed performances have cemented its status as a blockbuster.
