Three big Telugu stars, Allu Arjun, NTR, and Ram Charan, are set to captivate audiences with their upcoming pan-India films: Pushpa 2, Devara, and Game Changer. These movies are currently in production, and the first singles from each film have recently been released.
Ram Charan’s Game Changer kicked off the releases with its single Jaragandi, choreographed by Prabhu Deva and shot on an extravagant set by director Shankar. Despite its high production values, the song failed to impress audiences, with its composition and choreography falling short of expectations.
Next up was Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Pushpa song, which received praise for its catchy tune and Allu Arjun’s energetic dance moves. However, the outdated lyrics were a bit of a letdown, making it a decent but not exceptional introduction song.
Recently, NTR’s Fear Song was released to a positive reception. While there was hype comparing it to Jailer’s Hukum, the song showed promise. However, some noted its similarity to Leo’s Badass, with the lyrics being overshadowed by the music and vocals, lacking a memorable hook.
The true impact of Fear Song will become clearer in the coming days. Overall, while Pushpa Pushpa is decent, Anirudh’s techno composition for Fear Song stands out with fresh tunes and modern instrumentals that resonate well with today’s audience. Initial reactions suggest that Fear Song edges out Pushpa Pushpa and is better received than Jaragandi.
In this initial round, Anirudh emerges as the frontrunner, despite not being an outright ‘original’ chartbuster. However, DSP’s efforts are commendable and not far behind. As anticipation builds for these pan-India films, fans eagerly await further releases and hope for more memorable tunes and performances from their favorite stars.
