The wedding pictures of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have left us spellbound. The pictures are dreamy and the big fat wedding was a dreamy affair. The pictures that have surfaced shows one Priyanka in a white gown for Christian wedding while another one a red lehenga for Hindu wedding. Priyanka has now opened up about the reason behind choosing Ralph Lauren for the Western wedding, who played the cupid for the couple. Secondly, do you also know how much time the wedding gown took? It took a whopping 1,826 hours.
“For the Western wedding, we had been talking to a bunch of incredible designers, but ultimately when Ralph Lauren approached us, I learned that Ralph has only designed three wedding dresses in 50 years — one for his daughter, his daughter-in-law, and his niece,” Priyanka states, adding, “I was blown away.”
Priyanka’s friend and stylist Mimi Cuttrell gushed about Ralph’s design, “I would not have changed a thing about this dress. The Ralph Lauren team was an incredible team to work with. It was such a fun collaborative process between Priyanka, Ralph Lauren, and myself. Seeing this dress come to life and walk down the aisle… it still gives me chills!”
