Ever since Naga Chaitanya’s Premam went on floors, a lot has been written and said about it. The fact that it is a remake of the hit Malayalam film of the same name notwithstanding, everyone has been ready to criticise and draw comparisons.
While that was the case when the first look and teaser released, with a lot of criticism being directed at the film, the music album has compensated a great deal. A few days ago, they first song from the album, Evare, made a splash online but the video song couldn’t create a similar impact.
Well, with the audio launch happening and the songs having been released, it does seem like the album will give the film the much needed mileage. However, despite the breezy and pleasant album, in the end, it all depends on the visuals. Well, if the director manages to own the film, pushing the detractors back, the film might have a shot. But the album individually cannot do wonders for the film if the content is weak.
