Music lovers and S P Balasubrahmanyam fans all over the world had been praying continuously for the past two weeks and more for his recovery from Covid-19. It worked. A source says he had tested antigen negative which means he has no virus but has to heal from the damage caused when antigen positive. His son S P Charan shared another update and thanked people for their prayers.
The few weeks was a tormenting time for his family and fans. Balasubrahmanyam is just not a legend, he is a wonderful human being who had conducted himself with dignity and humility and his professional life though marked with ups and downs has been uninterrupted. The generation who is not familiar with SP Balasubramanyam had logged on to his songs and films in the past few weeks and have been introduced to a great singer that India can be proud of. His long time partner Ilayaraja with whom he had a so called tempestuous relationship on ‘royalty’ issues also prayed for his health and recovery.
