The film became a big hit and his second film KGF Chapter 1 caught the attention of everyone at the Pan-India level. KGF Chapter 2 will have a theatrical release this year. The star director is already working on the film’s casting. As per the reports, Neel is in talks with a couple of heroines, and Katrina Kaif is the front-runner to play the leading lady.
Katrina Kaif is a Bollywood heroine who enjoys superstardom in the South. She already made her debut in Telugu and it will be a comeback for her. Prashanth is determined to have a pan-India heroine on board as she can help the film market in northern regions. If Katrina or any other Hindi heroine comes on board, it will certainly be a decision that can hurt the Kannada audiences. Already, the Kannada audiences are disappointed that Prashanth is doing his next with a Telugu hero. They want him to give a chance to Kannada speaking heroine but Neel is set to disappoint them once again!
