Akhil Akkineni has done three films till now as a solo hero but neither of them was successful at the box office. Thus, the actor is yet to score his first hit even after his four years of career in the Telugu film industry. Currently, he is acting in his fourth film which is being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar.
The shoot of this film is currently underway in the surroundings of Hyderabad. Meanwhile, we hear that Akhil has also okayed his fifth film and it will be helmed by Prasanth Varma of Awe and Kalki fame. Apparently, Prasanth has narrated a script to Akhil recently and the latter liked it to the core.
Akhil asked Prasanth to work on the full script and the director is in the same work right now. If everything goes as planned, this film might get launched even before the release of Akhil4. More details on the production house and cast will be known once Akhil signs the project.
