Prasanth Neel’s upcoming movies
Parasnath Cinematic Universe: In an exciting development for Indian cinema enthusiasts, it has been confirmed that renowned actor Ajith Kumar and acclaimed filmmaker Prashanth Neel will join forces for two highly anticipated films. These projects will be produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, promising to be landmark collaborations in their respective careers.
Prashanth Neel, famous for his work on the KGF series, is set to direct two consecutive films featuring Ajith Kumar. The first film, tentatively titled AK 64, will be a standalone project. According to sources, Ajith and Prashanth discussed this collaboration during a break in the shooting schedule of Ajith’s film VidaaMuyarchi last month. Prashanth has requested over three years of Ajith’s time to work on these projects. The standalone film is expected to start filming in 2025, with a release date planned for 2026.

The second film in their collaboration, potentially titled AK 65 or AK 66, will be part of the ‘Neel Cinematic Universe’. This film will have a significant connection to KGF 3. The climax is designed to link directly to the upcoming KGF 3, with Ajith’s character playing a pivotal role. This setup indicates that Ajith and Yash, the star of the KGF series, will share screen space in a climactic scene, creating a crossover that fans are eagerly anticipating. An official announcement of this project is expected to be made with much fanfare next year.
In the meantime, Ajith has completed the shooting of VidaaMuyarchi and is set to begin working on Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly soon.
