Amid the ongoing investigation into the sex tape scandal in Karnataka, a woman has stepped forward with disturbing allegations against suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna and his father HD Revanna, accusing them of sexual assault and harassment. The woman claims that Prajwal Revanna raped her mother at his Bengaluru residence four to five years ago. Additionally, she alleges that she was coerced into stripping during video calls in 2020 and 2021, with Prajwal threatening her if she refused.
The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, provided detailed testimony to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) outlining the incidents. She also accused Prajwal and HD Revanna of raping and sexually harassing her mother, stating that her father lost his job after they filed a complaint. According to her, Prajwal also harassed female servants working at his residence.
The woman claims that her family was forced to sell their land two years after the incident due to the trauma they endured. These allegations come amidst a larger scandal involving Prajwal Revanna and his father, as they face accusations of sexually abusing several women and recording them. The scandal has sparked a political firestorm in Karnataka, prompting the state government to launch a SIT probe into the matter.
