The upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD is generating a lot of buzz, not only because it stars Prabhas but also because of its expected impressive lineup of cameo appearances by various star actors from different languages.
Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone will be playing the lead heroine adding glamour and charm to the movie. Legendary actor Kamal Haasan takes on the role of the main villain promising an intense performance. Amitabh Bachchan another icon of Indian cinema, will entertain audiences as Ashwaddhama. Fans are also excited about comedian Brahmanandam, who will return to the screen in this film after a long time.
Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan who became popular among Telugu audiences through films like Mahanati and Sita Ramam, is set to appear in a small role. Mrunal Thakur who captivated hearts with her role opposite Dulquer in Sita Ramam, is also expected to also have a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD.

There are also reports that young hero Vijay Deverakonda will feature in the film although his role remains a mystery. Malavika Nair is confirmed to appear with her role sparking interest on social media as photos of her character have recently gone viral.
Shobhana, who once enjoyed star status as a leading heroine has been away from films for some time. She will make her comeback with this movie much to the delight of her fans. Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad is also set to play a significant role.
In an interesting twist, there are rumors that prominent Tollywood director SS Rajamouli and controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma will have special appearances in the film. If true, this will undoubtedly be a treat for the audience as seeing these directors on screen is a rare event.
Additionally, Anna Ben and Saswata Chatterjee have good roles in the movie. Another unique aspect of Kalki 2898 AD is that Keerthy Suresh has lent her voice to a character named Buji, a robotic car which has piqued the curiosity of many.
