The poster of Prasanth Varma’s next film is out. It is untitled and we learn the team has around three or four options, all they need to do is pick the right one shortly. The poster design pretty much gives us a peak into the subject. We see Kondareddy Buruju of Kurnool in the background, there is deity that stands tall and there are bodies of few people scattered around with blood spilt over the floor which suggests people have been killed. All this can be seen from inside the jaws of some deadly organism or a monster. It has seemingly put the end to this world. Apparently, the protagonist has to deal with the monster to come out of a particular area.
Prasanth Varma is the director and the producer is from Tamil Nadu. He is Chandrasekhar who has done Nenena with Regina. The film was being shot and in December when the Corona talk came out; The issue was highlighted and incorporated in January. What happens when something is abused? Corona is just the beginning says the caption so there is something more than Corona that sounds the death knell for this world.
A great deal of CG might have gone into the making of the film. A unique aspect of this film is director Prasanth Varma’s initiative to rope in Telugu people as the entire cast and crew. We had since long artistes like Kota Srinivasa Rao lamenting that our talent is being ignored. In this time of crisis where quarantine is mandatory technicians and artistes from other States are brought in….this comes as a blessing in disguise. Lot of money and time had been saved and will be saved. Around 60 percent is left to be shot and the crew and cast can’t wait to join shoot. It is an ambitious project and the subject is close to the director’s heart. The team is yet to be announced.
