Actress Tanushree Dutta has opened #MeToo movement in Bollywood and among women journalists across the nation. So many women are now coming forward with their despicable experience of sexual harassment and molestation they went through by men at poweful positions. Now, former actress and daughter of know personality, Pooja Bhatt, has opened up her #MeToo experience saying that once her male friend grabbed her breast at an airport.
Pooja speaking on the sidelines of India Today Conclave East 2018 in Kolkata said, “Violence and abuse come in various forms. When a woman feels rage about it then, it is also held against her. They take away the basic right of screaming and talking about pain. When you speak uncomfortable truths in a world of lies, then you are looked upon as insane or you are dismissed.”
Many slamming Tanushree for breaking her silence after 10-years, Pooja said, “There are women who cannot name their own fathers, grandfathers or their own brothers in their whole lifetime. It is not fair to say why now.”
