Playing victim card might help Santosh Sobhan turn the tide in Pongal race

Playing victim card might help Santosh Sobhan in last hour
Who wishes to get sandwiched amidst big films during Sankranthi? So small players would eventually give way to the big stars. But this actor’s fate is quite unfortunate, in fact unlucky! Santosh Sobhan is still struggling to catch the pulse of audiences. Despite his abysmal last outing, Santosh is trying to strike a chord with his fans with fresh story. ‘Kalyanam Kamaneeyam’ looked to be a genuine effort from the actor. But you never know how the tide changes its direction.

Although his film made a good buzz with the trailer, it appears that his prospects to win audiences are quite less. Because Dil Raju is going to release his film ‘Varasudu’ starring Thalapathy Vijay. So Dil Raju has occupied substantially good number of theatres in the Telugu States. So there is hardly any space left for Santosh to breathe.

As many as five films are competing at the box office this festive season. Tamil Star Ajith’s action drama ‘Thegimpu’, and Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varasudu’ both have a good fanbase in Tamil. But will there be any difference in releasing them in Telugu — one has to wait and see.

Next in the line are ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ and ‘Waltair Veerayya’ both have their own rivalries to set the cash registers ringing. And the last, actor Santosh’s ‘Kalyanam Kamaneeyam’ which is produced by UV Creations. Netizens opine that things might change if he plays the victim card.
