Excerpt: Pawan Kalyan’s busy schedule has caused delays in the production of his films, including OG, which needs an additional 15 days of shooting to be completed. The actor’s shift towards focusing on political commitments after returning from Italy has left the filmmakers uncertain about the project’s timeline.
Despite Pawan Kalyan signing multiple films recently, his dates allocation issues have caused delays in the production of his projects. It’s worth noting that Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has rarely completed filming at a rapid pace in his career, except for the film BRO. Following the same trend, the makers of OG have been working diligently to complete the parts of the film that feature Pawan Kalyan. The actor has already allocated 30 days for the project, but an additional 15 days are needed to wrap up the film.
Originally, the OG team, led by director Sujeeth and producer DVV Danayya, had anticipated that Pawan Kalyan would allocate 15 days in November, allowing them to release the film by March 2024. However, Pawan Kalyan’s plans shifted when he decided to focus on politics after returning from Italy, where he was attending Varun Tej’s wedding with his wife. He plans to dedicate a month to the Telangana elections, running until November 30th, and then shift his attention to Varahi Yatra in Andhra Pradesh.
Insiders have indicated that it’s unlikely Pawan Kalyan will allocate dates to OG in November or December. His future actions will depend on the schedule for the Andhra Pradesh elections. This has created a degree of uncertainty for the makers of OG, who are hopeful that Pawan Kalyan will provide more clarity upon his return to India.
Several films, such as Krish Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Harish Shankar’s Ustad Bhagath Singh, have experienced delays due to Pawan Kalyan’s scheduling constraints. Sujeeth’s film has now joined the list of projects facing similar challenges.
