Pawan Kalyan can’t vote for his party!

Since the morning, social media has been buzzing with photos and videos of celebrities proudly casting their votes. However, one particular incident has caught the attention of many online users. It’s Pawan Kalyan, the founder of the Janasena party, who found himself unable to cast his vote for his own party.
Pawan Kalyan went to cast his vote in the Mangalagiri Constituency. However, to the surprise of many, there was no Janasena candidate contesting from this area, neither for the Assembly nor the Lok Sabha constituencies. Instead, candidates from the TDP were vying for the seats – Pemmasani Chandrasekhar for the Lok Sabha and Nara Lokesh for the Assembly.Given his position as the head of Janasena, Pawan Kalyan faced a peculiar situation where he couldn’t vote for himself or any candidate from his own party.
Although there was an option to transfer his vote to Pithapuram, the constituency from which he was contesting, Pawan Kalyan chose not to do so. Consequently, history recorded an instance where the leader of Janasena cast his vote for candidates from other parties in Mangalagiri.
However, it is to be noted that Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena has formed an alliance with TDP and BJP to defeat YSRCP in the AP elections of 2024. Having previously campaigned for the TDP-BJP alliance in the 2014 assembly elections, he later distanced himself from both parties due to unfulfilled promises. In the 2019 elections, his attempts to secure seats from Gajuwaka and Bheemavaram were unsuccessful. Undeterred, he is now contesting for the assembly elections from Pithapuram, marking another chapter in his political career by forming alliance with TDP and BJP.
