Filmmaker Parasuram Petla’s most ambitious project Sarkaru Vaari Paata starring Mahesh Babu will go on floors soon. The first look and title announcement has already piqued audience curiosity. The latest buzz is that Geetha Govindam director has given his nod to take a pay cut.
Initially, after the success of Geetha Govindam, his market value soared and was roped in for Rs 9 crore remuneration for Superstar’s film, However, with COVID pandemic taken a toll on the cinema industry forcing them to sop work for over two months, has forced the producers to rethink about the remuneration to the production team. Reports state that now Parasuram will be get payed Rs 7 crores.

On the other side, Mahesh Babu has reportedly come on board for a whopping Rs 50 crore remuneration. It is yet to be known if the producers are gin to slash remuneration from hero too. Meanwhile, when asked about title Sarkaru Vaari Paata significance, Parasuram said, It is too early for me to say anything about the title but one thing is for sure, I couldn’t have found a better one. This is apt, 100 percent. No option. It has come out from the story and I learn fans are extremely happy with it. My previous title Gita Govindam was an expression that came from the relationship of Radha and Krishna. The hero and heroine have no contact, it was just aradhana and was a perfect title. This one too you will agree is the best”.
