Panja Vaishnav Tej, who gained fame with the hit movie “Uppena” in Tollywood, has been facing a string of unsuccessful releases lately due to script choices. Despite his talent, his recent films have struggled at the box office. His latest film, “Aadikeshava,” directed by Srikanth N. Reddy, failed to strike a chord with audiences due to its predictable storyline.
The movie, which hit theaters on November 24, 2023, will soon be available on Netflix starting December 22, 2023. Netflix India South’s official X (formerly Twitter) account made the announcement, mentioning that the film will be accessible in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions as well.
The plot revolves around Balu, also known as Balakotayya, who gets embroiled in a murder case. Despite his carefree life, he decides to find a job for his father’s sake and impresses an employer with his martial arts skills. Love blooms, but Balu maintains a distance due to a revelation about his true parentage.
Despite initial confidence from the director, “Aadikeshava” faced criticism and didn’t perform well at the box office. However, it’s praised for its energetic performances by Panja Vaishnav Tej.
Directed by Srikanth N. Reddy, the movie features a diverse cast including Joju George, Aparna Das, Sada, Suman, Radhika Sarathkumar, and others in key roles. The music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, “Aadikeshava” promises to bring entertainment to the OTT platform soon.
