Controversies seem to be unending on Swara Bhasker. After trolls for her masturbation scene in Veere Di Wedding, the actress has found herself in the soup again. This time it is from neighbouring country Pakistan. Pakistani actress and VJ Urwa Hocane took to Twitter to show contradicting opinions of Swara on Pakistan. She posted a series of tweets and ended with “need I say more (sic).”

Swara embroiled herself after she appeared in a talk show with Rajeev Masand along with her Veeres for her film promotion. Speaking about the ban of the film in Pakistan, she said, “They’re [Pakistan] a nonsecular state. I’m not surprised at all. Why should we hold up Pakistan, which is a failing state — I don’t understand why we keep taking pleasure and feeling a sense of self-worth from all the silly things that happen in Pakistan. Apologies to all my Pakistani friends right now. Rest assured, Pakistanis have way worse vocabulary than we do. I know.”
To this, the Pakistani actress posted Swara’s in her old interview referred Pakistan as the best place she visited. “Pakistan is the country that you, Swara Bhaskar, referred to, in 2015, as the “best country you have ever visited”, and it has only gotten better in the last few years in every aspect along with when it comes to having bigger hearts and welcoming our guest,” her Tweet read. We have to see how Swara handles the situation and what justification she comes up with.
