Payal Ghosh was accused of dragging Richa Chadda, Mahi Gill etc while narrating her ordeal with Anurag Kashyap. She appeared to have innocently blabbered what all the filmmaker told her without thinking that the mention of the actresses could land them in an embarrassing situation. While one threatened legal action, the other two preferred to remain silent. It is a precarious situation where one can’t keep mum because people would think the statement was true. If a legal action is taken, there would be no logical end to it, it would be a long drawn process. Same is the case here wherein she dragged NTR and became a subject for trolls. Anurag could have found out about her past in Telugu film industry and must be poking her, but whatever it is…the entire episode has landed everyone in an unwanted mess. She has now shared a screenshot claiming that she has become a target of trolls. One such screenshot saw the mention of Jr. NTR. It linked the actress to the Telugu actor.

The comments also saw one user laughing over the tweet, probably in support. In her latest tweet, Ghosh lashed out at South Indian film industry actresses as well. “Some actresses who talk bad about the south industry and now they feel safe with someone like Mr.kashyap. Because of such women, people in bollywood conceive South Indian actresses in a different way. #shame #metoo,” she shared.
Payal had lodged an FIR against Anurag on September 22, 2020, while he was summoned to appear on October 1. She had recently even met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari to discuss the matter. She is also done with her medical tests after running around Cooper Hospital for four days.
