Sushant’s staff was buying drugs for Sushant, Rhea purchased it and stored it in Rakul Preet’s house for his consumption, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan saw him smoke while Kedarnath and Chicchore shoot was on. Surprisingly Sushant did not figure in their phones. All the above actresses never procured or consumed them, they said. When shown the drug chats by the NCB yesterday, they said buds and doobs were not drugs, it is a name given to cigarettes. Well, they were all like thorough professionals, tutored by their lawyers, came to deliver the dialogues. They might be let off now after questioning but they haven’t been given a clean chit. They are still under the NCB radar.Rakul Preet moved the court to gag media and doesn’t want anyone to write anything about her association with narcotics. When her name came out for the first time, she filed a petition in the court that she was being unnecessarily dragged into it. Then she didn’t follow the summons by the NCB and after being apprised of its consequences, she went after she got the second summons. The best line she ever delivered was that she stored the drugs at her place for her friend Rhea. She is probably not aware that possessing drugs is also a crime and she in all probability be arrested, can’t escape by naming Rhea. How innocent can an actress be that she is ready to store banned substances in her house; her parents allowed it? Didn’t she think even once as to why Rhea didn’t store it at her house? Once the summons were given, she had enough time to clear the ‘maal’ but still, a considerable amount was reportedly seized by the NCB. Why did she still keep it? Be it Deepika or Shraddha or Sara or Rakul…if punished, the younger generation will get the message clear and straight. They will think twice before procuring it, they will fear the stringent rules of the NCB and the punishment therein. The country hopes that what has been happening in the past few days is just not a fashion parade of the stars to the NCB. If action is not taken, the people of this country will lose faith in law and order, the entire system. One hopes even while the effort to nab Sushant’s and Disha Salian’s killers are on, there will be a consistent clean up of B-town.
