Performances

Sharwanand is a good actor and proves his mettle with Oke Oka Jeevitham. He had a very complex and emotional role to play and he did it with a lot of ease. Sharwa’s track with Amala is so good to see on screen. Amala gets a very important role and is an endearing factor to the film. Vennela Kishore is superb in his role and brings the house down on fire. Priyadarshi also has an interesting character. Ritu Varma is there just for the sake of it. Nasser as the scientist was quite effective.

Analysis

The film is about time travel and correcting one’s mistakes. The story is set amidst three friends, and they do extremely well in this aspect. The child actors who play key roles were also superb. The emotions that are showcased through every character will surely bind your attention throughout the film. Music by Jakes Bejoy is not that great.

The time travel and comedy created through it is so good. The fun does not go overboard at any moment. The manner in which every character has an ending is well thought out. The BGM and visuals are quite effective. The first half has beautiful moments as the fun generated is amazing.

Amala’s role is the main focus, and her track will move you. The bygone era and how it is connected with the present is also amazing. Director Shree Karthik is the man behind the film and his narration is slow but on point most of the time. He sticks to the story telling and makes sure the audience gets involved in the storyline.

Oke Oka Jeevitham is those rare films which has concept, comedy, and emotions in equal proportions. If you ignore the pace, this film will make sure that you have a good time at the theaters as it is good cinema told in an engaging manner.

Bottom Line – Impressive time travel
