Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s last movie, Selfiee, ended up as a box office disappointment, and now the actor relies on the sequel to his previous hit movie, OMG, to score a hit.
Since the teaser was released, the film has been facing issues. The CBFC didn’t accept giving a U/A certificate as the film contains many sensitive scenes regarding god and religion. However, the team wanted the CBFC to pass the certificate without asking to remove any scenes.
But, the CBFC censored the film and gave it an A certificate. That’s not enough. The movie underwent 27 cuts! The makers have nothing else to do with it now.
Directed by Amit Rai, OMG 2 is all about a believer in god facing problems in life. The movie will be released in theatres on August 11, 2023. Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam are the other key actors in the movie.
