Balakrishna’s dream project NTR biopic second part – NTR Mahanayakudu hit the screens on February 22 in India, while it released a day before in the overseas market. The first film NTR Kathanayakudu released on February 9 opened with the positive review but fell short off at box-office collections. Balakrishna who sensed the plummet had apparently gone easy for the second part. Despite being lenient with the distributors the film failed to beat the collections of NTR Kathanayakudu at the US market.
As per trade analyst who tweeted,“#NTRMahanayakudu USA hourly premieres grosss ya 7 pm PST on 21 February is $74,460 from 97 locations #NTRKathanayakudu collected $482k through premieres in USA last month!”
