NTR Kathanayakudu is all set for release on January 9 and the most talked about biopic has created a good pre-release business. The film has, in fact, created a recorded of sorts for Balakrishna by fetching astronomical figure through its satellite and digital rights.
NTR Kathanayakudu Theatrical Rights Sold For a Record
According to reports, NTR Kathanayakudu did a business of Rs 70 crore through the sale of global rights. To break it down, it minted Rs 54.10 crore from its theatrical rights for AP, TS; it earned Rs 5.90 crore from other parts of India and from its overseas distribution rights it raked in Rs 10.0 crore. Meanwhile, Balayya’s Gautamiputra Satakarni earned Rs 46.80 crore for its worldwide theatrical rights. Notably, Jai Simha had minted Rs 38.50 and Paisa Vasool earned Rs 32.50 crore by its satellite rights. Looking by this, Balakrishna’s NTR Kathanayakudu has created a record for him beating all his previous films in terms of theatrical rights collections.
