President Draupadi Murmu unveiled the commemorative coin honoring the iconic figure Sr Ntr, a luminary who left an indelible mark on the realms of Films and Politics, not solely within the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but throughout the entire nation.
This significant event took place in Delhi, where President Murmu ceremoniously introduced the Ntr Commemorative Coin, in the presence of esteemed Ntr family members who graced the occasion with their presence.
During the event, President Murmu lauded Ntr’s accomplishments and proudly displayed the coin, which serves as a tribute to his legacy. Dignitaries such as TDP president Chandra Babu Naidu, Ntr’s children Balakrishna, Purandareswari, Ramakrishna, and the BJP MPs participated in the ceremony, further underscoring the importance of the occasion.
The Ntr coin, valued at Rs 100, features a captivating portrait of Ntr himself. Adorned with the inscription “Ntr 100 Year Anniversary” and the notable date range of 1923-2023, the coin’s design reflects its commemorative nature.
