Many films have been put on hold. A day back, we informed our readers that five South films are directly having a digital release on Amazon Prime.
Now, reports are in that Nishabdham team is mulling over digital release after witnessing sudden spike in digital traffic on OTT. Although the reports were rife back then that the film will have OTT release, the team initially had rebuked calling it mere rumour. However, a source informs us that the team is actually in talks with the OTT platform.
The source informs, “The team is in discussion with an OTT platform that’s ready to give them a handsome deal but it’s not finalised yet. Whenever the decision is taken if the film will get a direct OTT release or if they’ll wait for theatres to reopen, they will announce it.”
