Remember Nivetha Pethuraj, the Mental Madhilo actress. The actress has now courted controversy over her picture inside the premises of popular Madurai Meenakshi Temple. Nivetha along with her friend paid a visit to Madurai Meenakshi Temple and shared the pictures and videos from the temple premises. While the pictures left her fans in joy but a section was quick to raise objections asking how she was allowed to take pictures as mobile phones aren’t allowed inside the temple.
The restriction carrying mobile phone got implemented since 2018 as a safety precaution. The public is asked to put mobile phones in lockers before visiting the temple. While the video and picture of Nivetha’s temple visit are doing the rounds, many are objections as to how the actress was allowed to carry the phpone.
