Venky Kudumula is Trivikram Srinivas’ former associate and he made his debut as a director with the film Chalo. Naga Shaurya played the lead and the actor’s parents turned the producers for the movie. The film became a big hit and the credit went to the director. Naga Shaurya too scored good appreciation as an actor. But, later, when Ashwathama shaped up, Shaurya revealed that he only wrote the script of Chalo but did not credit himself for the same.
This did not go well in the industry and Venky too got hurt by the same as he feels that Shaurya should not have done that, after the release. Shaurya’s comments appeared more like demotivating the director and insulting his work. Venky scored his second hit Bheeshma recently and during the success meet, Nithiin gave an indirect counter to Naga Shaurya by rescuing his director. Nithiin asked Venky, “Did you write the story for Bheeshma?” on a funny note. Everyone on the stage got split into laughs.
Looks like Nithiin too did his best to make sure that audiences know the fact that Venky is talented and is capable of coming up with entertaining scripts.
