During election campaigning in Andhra Pradesh actor Allu Arjun supported YSRCP candidate Shilpa Ravindra Reddy. This decision upset some of Allu Arjun’s mega fans, who were unhappy with his support for a political rival of Pawan Kalyan. Additionally, Mega brother Naga Babu appeared to share posts on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that some people interpreted as indirect criticism of Allu Arjun.

Despite the apparent tension, no official statements have been made by the family. Recently, Naga Babu’s daughter, Niharika Konidela, shared her thoughts on the situation. Niharika stated, “I don’t know the reason behind whatever my father posted. But, they (Allu Arjun supporting YSRCP candidate) have their reasons to do whatever. Just because they did something, we can’t say anything. Everyone has a choice to pick politically, religiously, or spiritually.” Her comments reflect the overall sentiment of the Mega family, emphasizing respect for individual political choices.
While the family seems to have different political views, they maintain a public stance of mutual respect and personal freedom. This situation highlights the complexities of balancing personal relationships and political affiliations, especially within prominent families.
In her professional life, Niharika Konidela is currently busy promoting her next production, a rural drama titled “Committee Kurrollu.” The film is scheduled for release on August 9th and marks an important project for Niharika.
