In a most shocking development, actor Nicolas Cage who got married to Erika Koike, make-up artist, has sought for an annulment just after four days of his marriage. Nicolas and Erika got their marriage licence on the very day of marriage, however, Nicolas states, that things happened when they were inebriated and “lacked understanding of his actions in marrying [Koike] to the extent that he was incapable of agreeing to the marriage.”
Cage’s lawyers said, “Prior to obtaining a marriage license and participating in a marriage ceremony, [Cage] and [Koike] were both drinking to the point of intoxication,” Cage’s lawyers state in the document. The document further added, “As a result of his intoxication, when [Koike] suggested to [Cage] that they should marry, [Cage] reacted on impulse and without the ability to recognize or understand the full impact of his actions.”
