Kartik Aaryan will team up with Neerja fame director Ram Madhvani for his next. The film is a thriller and the actor hasn’t explored this genre before. According to reports, Kartik’s first film with Ram is a remake of the South Korean film that revolves around a former news anchor who monopolises the live broadcast of a terrorist attack. Reportedly, the yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors in December this year and will release in 2021. When Kartik Aaryan read the script he was excited and wanted to explore this new genre.
“The film will be shot at multiple locations in Mumbai in a start-to-finish schedule. Though planned as a month-long schedule, the makers have left a two-week buffer, in case any unforeseen situation arises,” said a source, adding that, “the pre-production is underway.” Workwise, Kartik was shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in Lucknow before the lockdown. He also has Dostana 2 to resume with. Apart from that, Kartik has reportedly signed the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. He was last seen in Love Aaj Kal co-starring Sara Ali Khan. As of now, his action-thriller with Om Raut has been put on the back burner.
