Performances
Dhanush plays a double role in this film and he is amazing. In one role he is soft and in the other he plays a villain. In both the roles he showcases solid differences. Indeed, it is a sensational performance as we see Dhanush in a new manner. The girl who plays the role of Dhanush’s daughter has done a splendid job. Elli Avram is also solid in her role along with Yogi Babu.

Analysis
The film has a gripping first half and is narrated in an interesting manner. Dhanush and his performance bind the audience with the scenes. The twist that is brought in the break time is also very good and holds the attention of the audience.
But once the second half starts, things go for a toss. The film is directed by Selvaraghavan and his grip on narration during this time is pretty bad. There is no special factor in the making despite the BGM being quite engaging. The scenes are also ordinary and the ending is very predictable.
The conflict in the film is not handled properly. The music is quite disappointing to say the least and the manner in which the camera work is handled is very nice to see. The film starts well but is hampered mid way. So much was expected of this film but it is spoiled by some ordinary narration and leaves the audience displeased.
Bottom Line – Only for first half
