Nayanthara opens up on plastic surgery rumors
Nayanthara, a popular actress in the South Indian film industry, recently spoke about rumors surrounding her appearance. Over the years, there have been speculations that she underwent plastic surgery to enhance her facial features. However, in a recent interview, she denied these claims and explained the real reason behind her changing looks.
During an interview with Hautterfly, Nayanthara clarified that she has never had cosmetic surgery. She attributed her changing appearance to fluctuations in her weight and diet. She explained, “People often think I’ve done something to my face, but that’s not true. My weight goes up and down, and that affects how my face looks, especially my cheeks. If anyone wants to know the truth, they can pinch me or burn me, and they’ll find no plastic.”

Nayanthara also shared a personal detail about how she styles her eyebrows. She revealed that she does her eyebrows herself for every event, which she believes makes a noticeable difference in her appearance. She remarked, “My eyebrows have changed over the years, which might be why people think my face is always changing.”
Although there had been constant chatter about her getting plastic surgery, Nayanthara had never addressed it before. Her recent comments have now put these rumors to rest.
On the work front, Nayanthara was last seen in the 2023 film Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food. She has an exciting list of upcoming projects. Her next film, Test, will feature her alongside actors R. Madhavan and Siddharth. Directed by S. Sashikanth, Test is a sports drama that revolves around how a cricket match changes the lives of three individuals.
Additionally, Nayanthara will star in the Malayalam movie Dear Students with Nivin Pauly, which she is co-producing. She is also working on the Tamil film Manangatti Since 1960, directed by Dude Vicky, and has another untitled project with Kavin.
