Very rarely do you notice an actor appreciating their co-actors in a successful film; all stars appreciate congratulatory tweets dedicated to them but do not often take the initiative to acknowledge the contributions of their team publicly. Nawazuddin Siddiqui belongs to a different breed and we find this trait of his immensely refreshing.
The actor’s latest Netflix original Raat Akeli Hai released on July 31 and opened to unanimously positive responses from the aam-junta and critics alike. The Honey Trehan-directed film is a crime thriller told through the eyes of a cop Jatil Yadav essayed by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film revolves around the death of a character named Raghubeer Singh, an influential businessman in Kanpur. He was spending his wedding night with Radha prior to his death. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Shweta Tripathi, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Gyanendra Tripathi, Shivani Raghuvanshi and Nitesh Kumar play key roles.
Nawazuddin wasn’t merely tweeting the posts praising his performance, he went a step ahead to tell how his co-actors in the film inspire him and we couldn’t have been happier.
Preparing & creating the inner & outer world makes @radhika_apte get into the soul of the character easily.
