Nani’s Court: State vs A Nobody box office collection day 1
The courtroom drama Court: State vs A Nobody opened to positive reviews for its realistic portrayal of legal proceedings. Priyadarshi, Shivaji, and Harsh Roshan delivered compelling performances, making the film engaging. However, despite favorable word-of-mouth, the film struggled to attract large audiences on its opening day.
According to early reports, the movie earned approximately ₹3.54 crore by 9 PM. With an hour left before final collections, it was uncertain if the film could surpass the ₹5 crore mark. The expected boost from the Holi festival did not translate into higher numbers, leading to a slower-than-expected start.
The film saw an increase in audience turnout as the day progressed. The evening shows recorded a 61.99% occupancy rate, compared to 38.12% in the morning and 59.63% in the afternoon. The final night occupancy report was awaited before determining the overall trend for the day.
Made on a modest budget of ₹4 crore, Court: State vs A Nobody is expected to recover its production costs quickly. The film, which starts as a love story before evolving into an intense courtroom drama, explores themes of justice and power dynamics.
Apart from Priyadarshi and Shivaji, the film also features Sai Kumar, Harsha Vardhan, and Rohini in key roles. While the initial response was slow, positive reviews could help the movie gain momentum over the weekend.
