Nani reveals struggles behind marrying his wife Anjana
Actor Nani recently opened up about his love story with wife Anjana Yelavarthy during a chat with Rana Daggubati. He shared intriguing details about their journey to marriage and the challenges they faced.
Nani described Anjana’s family as academically accomplished and mentioned her grandfather, the renowned scientist Yelavarthy Nayudamma. Highlighting their legacy, Nani said, “Anjana has a diary belonging to her grandfather which records meetings with prominent figures like Indira Gandhi and NTR.”
Reflecting on their early days, Nani admitted that marrying Anjana once seemed unlikely. At the time, he had just begun his acting career and felt unsure about gaining acceptance from her family. He recalled, “Actors have unpredictable futures, and Anjana’s family, being academically brilliant had understandable concerns.”
When asked how he won them over, Nani humorously remarked, “Once you meet me, doubts disappear.” His charming personality and sincerity evidently helped him gain their trust.
On the professional front, Nani has a packed schedule. He is set to star in The Paradise by Srikanth Odela, marking their second collaboration after Dasara. He will also headline HIT: The Third Case, portraying an intense cop named Arjun Sarkaar. The film is slated for release on May 1, 2025.
