The actor and director duo earlier delivered hit films Super and Sivamani. The latest media speculations reveal that Nagarjuna initiated talks with Puri Jagannath but not to do a project for him.
Puri Jagannath is a mass director who elevates the image of a hero at the box-office. Naga Chaitanya tried his best to gain a mass hero image, but he is yet to reach the club. Nagarjuna wants Puri Jagannath to do a film with Naga Chaitanya. With Majili, Naga Chaitanya impressed the critics and audiences. But, the actor picked up a love story immediately. Nagarjuna is serious this time to make sure Chay establishes himself as a mass hero. The media reports reveal that Vyjayanthi Movies is showing interest in producing the film. However, the project will take off next year. Puri is busy with Vijay Devarakonda’s Fighter, and Naga Chaitanya has two projects to finish. If everything goes as per plan, this new movie will take off in January 2022 and will release in Summer. An official confirmation on the same is expected to be out soon.
