Senior Telugu star Nagarjuna maintained stillness throughout the promotions of his son Akhil Akkineni’s film ‘Agent’. Because he suspected that the film would surely go nose dive at the box office when it is released.
Soon after the failure of ‘Agent’, netizens took to social media platforms to express their vengeance and opinions on what might have gone wrong. Users commented that Nagarjuna knew that the film would be a flop. That’s the reason why he always maintained distance, keeping calm as much as possible during the events.
Another reason behind his silence was the pressure from the fans. Akkineni fans are always behind Nagarjuna for not doing enough for his son. While Chiranjeevi had set his son’s film career, fans blame King Nag for taking Akhil’s career casually. And after ‘Agent’s failure, the blame game resumed as fans pointed out Nagarjuna’s inability to render proper guidance to his son Akhil.
At the same time, Nagarjuna gave a free hand to his son to be selective. Thus, Akhil made a step forward and believed director Surender Reddy. But the hopes and the dream of getting a career break toppled with negative talk.
