Naga Chaitanya’s next film to feature a Bollywood actor

Nagachaitanya is currently immersed in the filming of his much-awaited movie Tandel, which is scheduled to hit theaters on February 7. Following this, he will begin working on a new thriller under the direction of Karthik Dandu who gained recognition for his previous film Virupaksha.

For this upcoming project, Karthik Dandu has crafted an intriguing thriller and preparations are in full swing. The team is busy finalizing the cast and crew, with discussions underway for the female lead. Prominent names like Pooja Hegde, Sreeleela, and Meenakshi Chaudhary are being considered. Reports suggest that either Sreeleela or Meenakshi may be confirmed for the role. Additionally, the film’s title is rumored to be Vrisha Karma, though an official confirmation is awaited.

In a significant update, it has been revealed that a Bollywood actor will play the antagonist in this project. Sparsh Srivastava, best known for his performance in the Hindi TV serial Balika Vadhu and the web series Laapata Ladies, has been chosen to portray the villain. This marks Sparsh’s debut in South Indian cinema, and the makers believe his character will add a fresh and unique dimension to the film. A look test for Sparsh’s role is expected to take place soon.

The villain’s role is said to differ from the conventional antagonists typically seen in commercial films, promising a new experience for the audience. With an estimated budget of ₹100 crores, the movie is being planned on a grand scale.
