The latest buzz is that Manmadhudu sequel is on cards. Apparently, Nagarjuna banner Annapurna has registered the title and will be produced by their home productions. Now, the big question that reels us who the director would be. Who the led actors will be – is it Naga Chaitanya or Akhil in the lead role. An official announcement is yet to be made by Nagarjuna. Career-front, Nagarjuna is gearing up for Devdas alongside Nani. The first look of Devdas was released recently.
The first look shows Nani and Nagarjuna lying on a caught in an unconscious state, while the former is seen sporting a stethoscope around his neck, suggesting to be a doctor and the latter is seen holding a pistol. The film is directed by Sriram Adittya, while Aakanksha Singh and Rashmika Mandanna are the lead actresses. Mani Sharma has been roped in for the music and is bankrolled under Ashwini Dutt banner Vyjayanthi Movies.
The film will release on September 27 as shows on the first look.
