Senior make-up man Bommadevara Ramachandra Rao aka Chandra who worked with many actors including Anushka made his debut as a producer with Panchakshari which was released in 2010. Now, Chandra is debuting as a director to introduce his son Tej Bommadevara as a hero. Besides directing, Chandra will also be producing the movie under Sai Ratna Creations banner as Production No 2, while Bommadevara Sridevi Presents it. Rishika Lokre is the leading lady.
The movie has been launched today grandly in presence of some Tollywood biggies. For the muhurtham shot on the lead pair- Tej Bommadevara and Rishika Lokre, hero Naga Chaitanya who graced the event as the chief guest sounded the clapboard, while art director Srinivas Raju switched on the camera. Senior director Samudra did the honorary direction. ACS Kiran handed over the script to the makers.
Later, while addressing the media, producer-director Chandra said, “I thank Naga Chaitanya, C Kalyan, and V Samudra who graced the occasion. My special thanks to Annapurna Studios for all their support. I wish you all will lend support for my son Tej who’s debuting as a hero. The film’s story is completely different from the regular love stories. We’ll be making the movie in an uncompromised manner with a good budget and rich production values. The film’s regular shoot commences on the 10th of this month. We are planning to release it in September.”
