Tollywood power couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are sharing screen space in Majili. The film holds special as post their marriage, this is the first film they have teamed up. Apart from Chay-Sam, Ninu Kori fame director Shiva Nirvana is helming the project, making the expectations soar.
The couple recently in an interview made interesting revelations about one another and their relationship. Chay revealed that he considers Samantha to be very possessive, though Sam refused to accept it.
Meanwhile, Sam had earlier said that it took them eight years to be on the same page. “It took us eight years to be at the same point. Because there were times when I really liked him and he was not in that space. And there were times when we wanted to work it out, but external factors. It took us a very long time to be in the same space,” she adds. While Sam is now at the peak of her career and is tasting success, she had her struggle from taking up odd jobs in her teenage days. “I think I was in 11th or 12th grade, you know my friends and I used to do odd jobs just for pocket money. You know Taj Coromandel, many companies used to organize events there. So, my friends and I used to go there and be in the reception committee. The writing, getting people to fill in the forms. The journey has been very long, and it was quite an experience. I don’t think many people will get a chance to experience the same. And I think that translates into the work I do,” says Samantha.
On the professional front, Majili which has already struck the chords of the audience with its music and till is all set for release on April 5.
