Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala: No destination wedding in Rajasthan?
Speculation has been circulating that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, who are engaged, have decided not to have a destination wedding in Rajasthan. Reports earlier suggested they might follow in the footsteps of other celebrity couples with a lavish celebration in a grand palace resort, but new rumors say they are planning a local wedding instead.
The couple, who got engaged in Hyderabad on August 8, 2024, has yet to confirm the date and venue for their wedding. However, it is believed that they will have a traditional ceremony on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.

The pre-wedding celebrations have already started. On October 21, 2024, Sobhita shared pictures from her “Pasupu Danchadam” ceremony, where she performed rituals with her family. For this event, Sobhita wore a beautiful orange and green silk saree from her fiancé’s mother, Lakshmi Daggubati. She completed her look with green bangles, simple makeup, and gold jewelry.
Sobhita seems to have become an important part of Naga Chaitanya’s family, as she also celebrated her first Diwali with them this year. Photos shared by a private chef show her wearing a gray saree and celebrating with Naga Chaitanya’s family, including his parents, Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, and his brother, Akhil Akkineni.
While fans eagerly await confirmation about the wedding, the couple’s plans for a simple, local celebration continue to be a hot topic of conversation online.
